A client had this to say:
"Jennekin, your work hit me like a lightning bolt of realisation that the issues I grapple with on a daily basis in the management of my [professional] practice aren’t unique or insurmountable, but are common issues ingrained in a system that has conditioned us to think in a certain way. Your ability to draw out these issues in a detailed yet accessible way shows a level of insight which ought to be shared with business leaders in many sectors."
So here I am sharing some of those ideas, with business leaders and their people.

What is the Club about? The MIA Habitat Club offers insight resources for a changing world of work. It is a place where years of collaborative in-business analysis, sense-making and solution-building is shared as accessible and actionable advice. It aims to help solve some of the common problems faced in businesses in a practical, respectful and impactful way. It is broadly applicable, but typically written for professional service businesses. What is offered here can certainly be applied to individual learning, but the full intent is that it will help whole groups of people get past the bits that bother together, so they can focus on creating innovative win-win realities as a genuine team invested in people and planet. |
"Habitat"I chose the word Habitat, as it seems fitting to describe a work environment where the ecology of systems, process and culture within it, supports the healthy and productive existence of all those within that space, so they can fulfil the intention of that space together, while contributing meaningfully in the world. A place for its people, by its people, acting on a greater purpose. It represents an organisation where a collaborative dynamic continually evolves sustainably - in REAL terms, not just in hopes, wishes and words - creating both internal and external impact. |
