MIA Safety in Design Solution Suite V2.2-NZ - For New Zealand Architects, Landscape Architects and Building Designers
(PLEASE NOTE: The price above will have 10% GST APPLIED AT CHECKOUT.)
This Safety in Design process suite is suitable for New Zealand Architects, Landscape Architects and Building Designers.
It consists of the full Safety in Design template set as developed by Management in Action, including:
- Review & Reporting Document (early client communication, pre-design checklist, site hazard analysis checklist, sketch design checklist, developed design checklist, additional review and debrief prompts, final reporting template).
- Risk Register (spreadsheet set with Safety in Design Plan, Risk Register and Risk Matrix).
- Training Manual with detailed instructions and process flowcharts (including a project timeline with SID actions).
This set contains Review Topics optimised for Architects, Landscape Architects and Building Designers. (Landscape only topics are easily identifiable if they need to be removed).
The above document set presents a unique approach to Safety in Design - it supports a logical, useful process to practically support compliance with legislated Safety in Design requirements. The version above was initially developed in response to Safety in Design requirements as defined in the Australian Model WHS Act, WHS Regulations and the Code of Practice - Safe Design of Structures. Adaptations were then made to reference the almost identical Safety by Design requirements in the New Zealand WHS Act and Regulations. Since New Zealand designers carry the same duty to create and support safe outcomes, the main process remained unchanged. This process solution embeds easily in the various stages of the professional design process and eliminates additional documentation of standard safety measures already responded to in the design documentation set. Please consider attending/viewing one of our training offers for optimised use of this template set.
